The complete list of activities our residents participate in is much greater than this .. but here are a few highlights ...

A group of residents wanted to go to dinner and a show in style so they rented a limousine with virgin drinks. They had a great dinner at Red Lobster and saw Mystere. They had a wonderful time!

A group of residents saved their money and with some support from New Vista went on a 4 day cruise to Mexico. Wow, they didn’t stop talking about it for a few weeks!

Some of the men decided they wanted to go hiking in Zion National Park. They had a wonderful long day of hiking and eating, (another favorite pastime). Then they went to a car show the next day.

All of the residents enjoy New Vista Community’s semi-annual camping trip to the Valley of Fire. They have such a good time with hiking, games, campfires, singing, BBQ steaks, and eating s’mores.

San Diego is a favorite spot for residents; they spend the weekend visiting the San Diego Zoo and Sea World.

Disneyland is still the all time favorite among our residents and a group is always going to Anaheim on an annual basis.

In town, they love to participate in going to the movies and eating out in restaurants.

All the residents have memberships to the YMCA that provide many outlets of exercise and socialization.

They enjoy planting in their own personalized gardens and love to shop for anything. Many parties are planned and executed by the residents for birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays.

The residents always participate in winter/summer Special Olympics. Every weekend there is something going on; golf, track, bowling, swimming, etc…

The residents love to go on day trips to Mt. Charleston or St. George to shop, hike, browse, and relax.

Several individual residents take vacations and fly to see family outside the State.

Weekly everyone tends to shop, eat out, go to the movies, and/or go to a sponsored dance. If nothing is going on outside the ranch, then everyone gathers in the gazebo to listen to music and socialize with each other.
