CEO
Kelly DeGuzman has multiple years working with individuals
with mental illness and individuals that are intellectually challenged. She has worked with both children and adults
in small to large facilities and has specialized training
in schizophrenia, personality disorder, prader-willi
syndrome, and mental retardation. She has over fifteen
years experience in accounting from bookkeeping to financial
reporting.
Program Developer
Archie McArthur has over 8 years experience in the human services field;
working with troubled youth/teens, mental health, and intellectually challenged population. The majority of his career has been working with MR &
MH individuals. Archie's ability to deliver high quality client services and
adapt to the different state entities helped mold him. Archie is a certified
trainer in behavior management through the Dealing with Anger & Personal
Safety Techniques Curriculum, CPR, First Aid and Crisis Intervention.
Director of Development
Michelle Jackson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from
University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Communications. Initially
her background was in advertising and marketing. She
has however utilized these skills for the non-profit
community, and has previously worked for both Ronald
McDonald House and American Red Cross in all phases
of fundraising and community branding. She oversees
all aspects of New Vista’s advertising, branding,
marketing, special events, and public relations.
Program Director
Michele L. Hootsell has worked in the social services field for several years and recently returned to her first love of working with the developmentally disable population. Michele earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and a Masters in social work. Michele takes great pleasure in the joys that she receives from supporting the intellectually challenged population. Michele oversees all the support staff and answers best practices are being
achieved.
